Jeanenne Bell, G.G.  Several examples on the three pages.  The bookchain in the photo on the left is most like the book example.  There is a small carved cameo in the center drop which might be coral.  The owner  inherited this from an aunt who lived in India as a child as her father was the Ambassador to India at the time.  The other book-chain example has a center drop/closing  and was maybe a watch-fob at one time.  [larger view]  Courtesy of Alice Leonard.
